Asahi Media International was established in 1991 as a typesetting company specializing in the production of books and magazines. We quickly moved to the Mac DTP platform in the early 90s and have branched out into a full-fledged one-stop book design and production service including planning, design, editing, proofreading, illustrations, dtp, print-ready ctp data, ebooks, web-coding/servicing and iphone applications. Most of our work is in Japanese, however we also specialize in English typesetting and most Asian languages. We have 50 employees in our Tokyo head office, have an affiliate company in Sekasho, China and have a network of freelance designers, programmers and operators both locally and internationally.
